Sports hall
Podešť, Jakub ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with structural design of sports hall for common sports (handbal, football, tennis, volleyball, basketball) located in the Zlín. The hall ground plan dimensions are 36 m x 48 m and height of the hal lis 16,03 m. A loadbearing structure of roofing consists of three-hinged archs of glued laminated timber. A curve is pin-supported on reinforced concrete frames. Cross-binding are distanced 4 m. Purlins are pin supported between archs. The stability of the structure is toughened by sway and longitudinal bracing.
The Roof Structure of a Multipurpose Sport Building
Málek, Leoš ; Straka, Bohumil (referee) ; Buchta, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of roof structure of multipurpose sports hall located in the city of Blansko. The goal is to use timber and natural resources as much as possible. Emphasis is placed on the maximal prefabrication at the site of production and the speed of assembly at the site of construction. Span of the structure is 40,035 m, length 59,75 m and height 17,525 m. The structure is designed as a three-hinged truss made from the glue laminated timber. The structural model was created by software RFEM of the Dlubal company.
Design of roof timber structure for the central station in Brno
Sikorová, Radka ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Straka, Bohumil (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with a design of loadbearing structure of roofing of the railway station in Brno. The main truss is a three-hinged arch which is maid of glued laminated timber with a span of 70,0m and a high of 11,7m. Arches are supported on the foundation by means of steel pivot joint. The conection between arches are provided by the purlins, their length is from 4,486m to 5,000m. The structure is horizontally curved by diameter R=600,0m, a length of centre-line is 445,5m. A spatial rigidity of the structure is provided by the cross and longitudinal bracings.
The roof structure of the sport hall in Blansko
Tunková, Eliška ; Bajer, Miroslav (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The topic of my bachelor’s thesis is a design of a construction of a sports hall. The hall’s floor plan has a rectangle shape. The width is designed to be 32 metres and its length is 52 metres. The roof construction is curved in a shape of a circle and its axial height is 12 metres. The construction is designed to be made from wood and steel with alternative arrangement. The static solution was implemented using the RFEM software.
